Change is to some what breathing is to most.
The past is no more than a long dead ghost.
Through the sea of time we coast.
No one escapes the journey we take.
No one gets a second chance to fix the mistakes.
Remember this with each promise you make.
Change comes to some as natural as rain.
For others it brings a flooding of pain.
No one in life stays all the way sane.
Some see things coming. Others are shocked.
It's all the prices in this cage in which we're locked.
Destined or doomed to face a world of change
It may brighten, darken, enlighten, or derange.
Show me a person who's the same now as they were back then.
I would give you the world times ten
If I could.
You know we should
Really get used to this thing.
Tomorrow will be different and rides on quick wings.
Are you prepared?
Should you be scared?
All is unpredictable. Expect the unexpected.
Everyone around you will always be effected.
By change.

Falling
I'm on the edge of the cliff.
No one sees.
Here I am.
Here you are with me.
If I were to jump
Would you follow me?
If I were to take one more step
Would you pull me to safety?
I don't know where we're going.
I don't know what will happen.
All I know is that we are here
And something must take place.
There are no words,
But I see the look on your face.
You do not want to be in this place.
I've made my choice.
You should've used your voice.
Here I go
For the very last time.
Now I'm falling.
I can't lie.
This feeling is amazing.
As I fall through the air
I'm almost flying,
Except I'm sinking.
What was I thinking?
Down I go.
Who would know
That this would be it?
What you see
Is what you get.
Just for a moment,
I feel I am free.
My only regret
Is making you see
Just what there is
On the inside of me.
But then I feel it.
Something grabs me above.
Why am I alive?
It's His love.
He saved me, undeserving, once again.
This is it my friend.
The story of who I am.
I fall and He catches me.
Who was I to try and be free?
Such a thing can't be provided by me.
Freedom is in Him alone.
One day I will go home.
But not today.
No one sees.
Here I am.
Here you are with me.
If I were to jump
Would you follow me?
If I were to take one more step
Would you pull me to safety?
I don't know where we're going.
I don't know what will happen.

Long is the road
What I tell you now is true, my child.
Sit by the stream and wait a while.
Soon you will see a world you never knew.
Take my hand. I'll lead you through.
Through all you are and all you do,
Remember this place I'm showing you.
This is what life is, dear one.
There not much light. There's not much sun.
These things are rare in our fragile hearts.
Every day, we're torn apart.
I can not change these things so real.
I weep for you. How cold I feel.
I never wished such a tragic truth
For you are still young, not yet a youth.
If I could take your place today
You wouldn't even have to say
A single word to make me go.
I'd do anthing to overthrow
For you this curse upon us all.
Don't be like me. Don't cry and fall.
The road is long, my child, but remember these things.
One day your life could change everything.
As we walk under this sky so grey,
We ever still await the day
When it all just goes away.
The road is long, my child, remember these things.
Sit by the stream and wait a while.
Soon you will see a world you never knew.
Take my hand. I'll lead you through.
Through all you are and all you do,
Remember this place I'm showing you.
