Happiness is real
It's something I can feel
I missed the feeling of sun on my face
I missed the feeling of having a place
Light was shining through this doorway
I walked into it's warming ray
Laughter should be more than an echo of the past
Chilling our bones for as long as we last
Laughter is real, pure and good laughter
The joy is begining to fill us faster
Silence the voices which should not speak
Forget the things that make you weak
Life is too short to live in despair
Freedom awaits you. There are those who care
Light, life, freedom, joy
All these things are possible for us to enjoy
So put down your weapons, take off the masks
All this pain is worthless, for the short time we last

Hiding
My mind goes back to a time so distant
When the air was heavy with the load of whispers in it
Every truth, every lie, every hidden thought
All the hiding, all the searching, the confusion it brought
Oh how the silence screams the truth
In the sickness of our youth
A pair of eyes spoke of a worry
Another soul learned of a pain
Inside a heart, feelings grew blurry
A spirit tried to hold on in vain
Hidden thoughts drown our freedom
A black umbrella hides my face
So many truths. I don't want to see them
Memories have a bitter taste
Mouths say so little. Eyes say so much
So many secrets I fear to touch
That is why I am contented abiding
In this place that some call hiding
Nobody can see me, nor do I want to see them
If knowing is poison, then seeing is its stem
Some say I'm just fearful. I say I am fine
I close my eyes and leave the memories behind
When the air was heavy with the load of whispers in it
Every truth, every lie, every hidden thought
All the hiding, all the searching, the confusion it brought
Oh how the silence screams the truth
In the sickness of our youth
A pair of eyes spoke of a worry
Another soul learned of a pain
Inside a heart, feelings grew blurry
A spirit tried to hold on in vain
Hidden thoughts drown our freedom
A black umbrella hides my face
So many truths. I don't want to see them

That is why I am contented abiding
In this place that some call hiding
Nobody can see me, nor do I want to see them
If knowing is poison, then seeing is its stem
Some say I'm just fearful. I say I am fine
I close my eyes and leave the memories behind

Water
Life, they say
Has not a way
To exist a day
Without water.
Water, its said
Is life's bread
And we'd all be dead
Without it.
A thirsty child
Frail and mild
Who has been dying a while
Is saved by a pure drink.
The glass reaches
His parched lips and to us teaches
And beseeches
To love the saving of lives.
Another boy far away
Won't live to see another day
For while swimming he did pass away,
Murdered by the water.
Ironic how life
Can cause death and strife,
How it can take away life.
And so it is with water.
A mother at home
Sits alone.
Through the window is shone
A fast approaching flood.
Her heart fills with dread
For soon she'll be dead
Water killing her instead
Of saving her.
And so is life unfair
When we get to where
Our life source is bareof love.
It kills us to see
What it can really be
A murderous sea
We can't live without.
So were her thoughts
With sorrow of lots
She to the room brought
As she took a glass of water,
Next came the pills
The bottle did spill.
So much of thrill
Of living.
Her body fell cold.
The lies had grown old.
What was real had been sold
By the liars.
What seemed all good
Didn't do what it should.
This truth has still stood
About water.
What keeps us alive
Stabs us from behind,
Makes us helpless and blind
Like water.
It gives us life and takes it away
No brighter days.
No other way.
That is water.
Has not a way
To exist a day
Without water.
Water, its said
