What you see is nothing.
What you see is a lie.
What you see is empty.
It's the hypocritical outside.
You'll never hear a sadder story.
You'll never see a darker sight.
It won't hurt you on the outside
But on the inside, it just might.
The saddest part of nothing
Is that there's something you can't see.
There's something that's inside it.
There's something inside me.
Everyone is saying that nothing can't be something.
This statement remains true.
But when I look in your direction
I see there's something inside you.
Who are we really?
Can it be seen by those we know?
The sad answer for most of us
Is a cold and simple no.
Don't treat nothing like it's name inclines.
Most of the time, it's name lies.
There is something inside of nothing.
Something you must look hard to find.
Take this as a reminder
To act as if you are alive.
Never question who they want you to be.
Be the something on the inside.
My last wish is to be living proof
That there's more to people than meets the eye.
There is something inside of nothing.
Can you see it in yourself?
There is something inside of nothing.
I will find it if no one else
Will take that stand for you today
And take all your nothingness away.
There is something inside of nothing.

This is really, really awesome. You touched me, and it's something that not all poets or writers can do. Thanks for putting this up. Don't give up, because you have talent!
