You find yourself so tired of looking up.
How did you end up so far down?
Today it ends. We're leaving this place.
We'll climb the mountain and leave the world around.
Why did it take so long
For us to give up the place below?
Everyone finds them self there sometimes
But it was our time to go.
The next thing I see is the rarest of all things.
The air is clear and warm.
It settles in our wings.
Look at the sky.
We're more level with it now.
The sun sets in an array of color.
It's at this point I vow
To remember this place
For the rest of my living
And to never give up
And to never stop giving.
Tomorrow we may find ourselves
Back in the shadows from which we came
But you can't honestly tell me
That you will ever be the same.
Promise me you won't forget
The setting of the sun
The warmth of air
A purpose for everyone
The ability to fly
The existence of love
And everything we saw and knew
While we witnessed the view from above.
