Just another day
Going about our ways,
Running around with danger,
Acting like a stranger,
Trying to find ourselves.
Too good for anyone else,
Or maybe the worst
Because we're never first.
Selling out to fakes,
Faking what it takes.
Masks called beauty made from lies
Severe all our sacred ties.
Making something out of it,
All the things we won't admit.
Attempts to rise above
Shot down without any love.
Watching it fall apart
As we complain in our art.
Growing older with younger souls.
Got a logic full of holes.
Again, our generation forms another
Sadly dissapointed mother.
